At a recent meeting at EOTA (Eastern Ontario Trail Alliance) it was decided that the best solution for a provincial trail pass was to adopt the Trillium Trail Network Gold Pass with a launch target date for beginning of 2008.

The System was initiated through the Ontario Trail Council which represents not only the interests of ATVs but other stakeholders such as cyclists, hikers, etc.

The specifics are not finalized but basically it provides the option for memebers of their local oranization to upgrade their $120 pass by $20 to a provincial pass.
